Aqua Ammonia Binder consists of glucocomponent compounds from Mexico's native Yakka Plant. It features a specific bonding action within it's molecular structure to reduce levels of ammonia in the water, preventing it from being harmful to fish. Once bound, the ammonia is not released back into the water body. However, ammonia is available for conversion by nitrifying bacteria in the water body.:
- Fast acting, reduces ammonia levels to normal within 1 hour.
- Effective in fresh and salt water.
- The bound ammonia stays bound, and is not released as the binder breaks down over time, unlike some products.
USES:
- During the cycling stage when setting up an aquarium.
- When too many fish are in the water body and the ammonia levels rise to detrimental levels.
